Composite Studio
The Composite Studio is a powerful graphical development
environment for modeling data, designing queries, connecting data sources,
setting security controls, and monitoring results. The Composite Studio
provides a GUI tool that allows users to create Composite data services in
the form of SOAP-compliant WSDL web services or SQL views. These data
services access, combine, and abstract data from disparate data sources for
delivery to a variety of applications. The Composite Studio enables users
to:
- Easily build Composite data services using intuitive
point-and-click, drag-and-drop icons
- Combine Composite multiple data services to form
additional higher-order data services hich may provide a more
comprehensive or versatile view of corporate data
- Maintain and monitor Composite data services for
optimal execution by the Composite Information Server
The Composite Studio has two main
components:
|
Modeler
The Modeler is the main facility for modeling, publishing, and resource
management. The Modeler allows users to automatic introspect their
environment for available data sources. Users can join disparate data into
Composite data services in the form of WSDL web services or SQL views in the
provided workspace and then publish them for execution by the Composite
Information Server.
